Agriculture policy for health, economy & environment

Healthy’ agriculture must be the goal whereby nutritional considerations become part of multinational agricultural policy-making, and at the same time, agricultural considerations must be incorporated into the improvement of nutrition and health. As Feenstra (2002) aptly put it—we should endeavour towards ‘A collaborative effort to build more locally-based, self-reliant food economies—one in which sustainable food production, processing, distribution, and consumption are integrated to enhance economic, environmental and social health’.

My Design Internship

I was lucky enough to take a 4 month full time internship in Sydney's 'Vert Design' studios. I learned invaluable skills here and worked on a myriad of projects from constructing laser cut timber kayaks, to plastic injection and 3D rendering. This is a few of the project I worked on in my  time at Vert.

City Studio

This design project tackled the problem of lighting within inner city terrace houses that had been converted to office spaces. My design included furniture that was cut from the floor allowing light through to the lower levels. The ground floor has a perspex enclosed river running through the middle which also provides lighting to the basement level.

COFA campus shade concept

COFA was asking for ideas on how to shade the new courtyard. This is my design reflecting the open book design seen at UNSW main campus. This shade cloth is semi-transparent perspex, laser cut with a lace pattern to provide dappled sunlight and reference COFA's dedication to traditional crafts

Playing with logos

An upmarket Surry Hills salad bar needed their brand to be freshened up. Here's some of my initial concepts.
